Tension Relief Sewing is family-owned and operated right here in Modesto, CA. Since our company opened its doors in 2001, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. We strive to provide great service, and it comes with a personal touch. We have over 40 years of experience servicing and repairing of most makes and models of machines.

 Owner Manuel brings over 40 years of experience in sewing machine service, repair and sales consulting. Manuel managed 2 stores for Singer company, supervised the Singer department in 9 stores for House of Fabrics, and worked for various other retailers. In 2001 he decided to open up his first shop in Hilmar, California. In 2004 Manuel decided to move his growing business to a new location at, 629 East Main Street in Turlock California. In order to better serve our customers Tension Relief Sewing has moved to a newly renovated shop located at 1315 W. Roseburg  Ave. in Modesto, CA 95350.
